Nishio City and its surrounding areas in Aichi are the birthplace of the premium Matcha, which has about 700 years of history as a Matcha production area. The Nishio area is suitable for the cultivation of better-quality tea trees because they have warm, fertile, and well-drained land.

This unique environment gives Matcha the exquisite balance of "the deep green," "the elegant aroma," and "the smooth umami and rich flavor".
